Easy Woman's DC Beanie

You will need:
Hook: 5.5 mm - I
Yarn: Redheart Medium 4 Worsted Weight
Stitch markers
Needle
Sissors

Magic circle
Rnd 1: 12 dc, sl st to beg dc, ch 2. (12 dc)
Rnd 2: 2 dc in each st. around, sl st to beg dc, ch 2. (24 dc)
Rnd 3: 2 dc in 1st st, dc in next, repeat around, sl st to beg dc, ch 2. (36 dc)
Rnd 4: 2 dc in 1st st, dc in next 2, repeat around, sl st to beg dc, ch 1. (48 dc)
Rnd 5: 2 dc in 1st st, hdc in next 3, repeat around, sl st to beg dc, ch 1. (60 dc)
Rnd 6-16: dc around
Rnd 17: SC around

Note: For different yarn weight or if using another hook size:
Increase until flat circle diameter is 6 inches
height of the hat 8 inches

Hat fits my head with a nice snug fit. Length just covers the bottom of my ears. Depending on the yarn you use, your tention, your head size or preference you may want to do less rows to shorten how far the hat covers your ears. You may only want to go-to Rnd 14 or 15 then SC the last Rnd.
