McCoubrey McAdam

Richard McCoubrey was my Great Uncle. Marjorie McCoubrey was my Great Aunt.
Irene McAdam is my grandmother.

MCCOUBREY _ Allison (Al) McCoubrey, beloved husband of Mrs. Marlene McCoubrey of Airdrie, passed away suddenly at his residence on June 2, 1997, at the age of 75 years. Al was born on May 1, 1922 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. He moved to Calgary in 1951 and married Marlene in 1953. Al managed hatcheries in Calgary for most of his life, retiring from Chinook Belt Hatcheries in 1983. Besides his loving wife, Al is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Randy, Kevin and Kim, Barry and Janice; a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Perry Nitz, all of Calgary; four grandchildren, Kyle, Kelcie, Samantha and Rochelle. He is also survived by two brothers, Harry and Richard McCoubrey of P.E.I.; and two sisters, Irene McAdam and Marjorie McCoubrey, both of St. John, New Brunswick; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Bradley in 1961 his parents, Harry and Carrie McCoubrey, a brother Rex, and two sisters, Audrey and Ruth. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S "Airdrie Funeral Home" (300 Towerlane Drive, Airdrie, Alberta), today, June 5, 1997 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Gordon Miller of Airdrie Seventh-Day Adventist Church officiating. Interment to follow at Airdrie Cemetery. In living memory of Al McCoubrey, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES "Airdrie Funeral Home", 300 TOWERLANE DRIVE, AIRDRIE, ALBERTA.
